The geographical area: territorial borders

Our catchment area extends south to north from the Fedare refuge at the Giau Pass to the Lagazuoi refuge, and west to east from the La Baita hotel restaurant to the Croda da Lago refuge. It includes the Pocol area halfway between Cortina and the Giau and Falzarego passes.

Iconic mountains characterize the landscapes: Sasso di Stria, Lagazuoi, Tofana di Rozes, Averau, 5 Torri, Nuvolau and Croda da Lago. Mountain huts, restaurants, hotels and lift facilities make these places accessible both in summer and in winter.

Cortina Delicious: a treasure trove of biodiversity and sheer beauty

There are many attractions: rock walls known throughout the world for mountaineering, via ferratas and climbing crags; beautiful mountain lakes (Croda da Lago, Bai de Dones Limides and Lagaciò); an extensive network of CAI hiking trails leading to high-altitude pastures and through the largest outdoor museum of the Great War in the Dolomites: Lagazuoi - 5 Torri - Sasso di Stria. The territory is mainly owned by the Regole d’Ampezzo; a part of it is included in the Nature Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites and the Natural Park of Sennes, Fanes and Braies. The SS48 Great Dolomites Road winds throughout the Delicious area. It was inaugurated in 1909 was the first road to raise public awareness of the famous Dolomite passes. We are in the heart of the Dolomites, the most beautiful mountains in the world. An archipelago of rocky peaks, a treasure trove of biodiversity and pure beauty that has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
